Nobody who's willing to publicly vaguepost about you instead of directly and privately talking to you about their feelings is being a real friend or acquintance. At the very least, unfollowing quietly or reaching out to just explain that they want to part ways and why is better than gossiping about someone behind their back to others (or worse, right in front of you but in a vague enough way for plausible deniability) and causing a scene in public.
