I continue to be FUCKING AGONIZED by the lack of good strategy and gameplay guides for most 2010's-2020's videogames.

Nobody writes guides anymore. If they do write guides, they're on google docs (don't show up in search engines), that are only linked to from discord servers (DON'T SHOW UP IN SEARCH ENGINES). Search engine results are filled with SEO slop from GameRant and its ilk. Video? Haha, fuck video guides. How am I supposed to ctrl+f if you actually address the damn thing I'm looking for in a video? It feels agonizing to try and get through a video guide only to find that it's surface level stuff.

Indie games. Big budget games. It doesn't fucking matter. You have occasional exceptions - Stardew Valley, Qud, Minecraft I've heard? - but for so many games if you want in depth tips and tricks you are hitting your head against a brick wall.

There is no good guide to fish bait in the Sims 4.

The Sims 4 is 11 years old.

Fishing is a base game feature.

Every time I play Zoo Tycoon 1 or 2 I still use the GameFAQs! Every time I play Spore I still use the GameFAQs! People should've never stopped writing GameFAQs for things!

Frick, Miitopia of all games has a pretty damn good GameFAQs.
