Stardew Valley's 1.7 update has been announced, although not what will be in it.

Picking back up Caves of Qud. Started a new file, once again using the "gunwing" preset character. For some reason there's way more lag in the Stiltgrounds now for me? Makes it really annoying to traverse the place. Shame because I loooove shopping in Qud.

I feel like I need motivation to complete the two color-meta posts for Utena and Princess Tutu I promised anime_manga ages ago. I never finished their cohost versions and now I'm slacking on the dreamwidth versions... sigh.

It's easy to get demotivated. X( Everything is stressful and I don't have much faith in myself to have interesting or worthwhile things to say...

Man I love this game for continuing to have new things to do, even as CA is working on Haunted Choclatier!

...honestly, part of me really wishes that you could put the dinosaur egg in the ostrich incubator to hatch a Big Dinosaur that lives in the barn, but that's such a weirdly specific want that I know it's not gonna happen.

I'm a livestock fanatic, I always make sure to collect one of every kind at least, including secret kinds. That's also why I get to eight hearts with Shane every run when I don't actually want to marry him. I need to unlock his blue chickens to complete my coop. They're just so cute! Seeing them run around alongside the white, brown, and void chickens...

Aside from the part where he's a shill for retail Morris is so much of what I am into. I was so sad learning you couldn't romance the guy or at LEAST give him free stuff at the altar of simping.

I love jerk redemption arcs! For me personally I'd rather see Morris see the errors of his ways first, THEN you can romance him since he'd have become less snooty abt the small town culture and has more respect for the farmer and everyone else. I personally am not into redemptions from romance (tho if I did one it'd require both the farmer and Morris being massive tsunderes with Morris slowly realizing maybe he's on the wrong track).

But... I also like your idea of a Joja romance route, like a corruption arc for the farmer.

(Isn't Shane on the chubbier side? I always figured he was chubby but while I def have a giant squish on him, he's not one of my crushes).

Oh so you do like to do the rancher skill tree then or are you more into just collecting and invest in the tiller skillset when it's time to make that sweet cash?
