Note to self for running Windows 98, XP games at pixel perfect resolutions

to make just old games ignore scaling: right click on the exe > properties > compatibility > adjust high dpi settings

check "override high dpi scaling behavior" and select application from the drop down

it will run pixel perfect, be warned this makes the game tiny on high resolutions
