Tumblr search is full of AU reader x character fics and squeeing about Bobby, a white camera boy in a crop top whose only personality trait is "stoner" and has like maybe five minutes of screentime max. None of these long ass posts are under a readmore. By the way. The readmore feature that Tumblr has had for over a fucking decade and is easy to add to a post.

I guess I'll! Fucking wait for Nightmare Masterclass on Youtube to say something, because god am I not going to find any meaningful commentary on the bad website. Why do I even keep going there. It's basically impossible to curate a good experience on there, no matter what people say. The main thing that makes me miserable about it is the edgelord stalinists, the scrupulosity-baiting, the love of suicide baiting, the desire to find a marginalized group you can argue is actually so privledged that it's rightous to harass them, the valorization of "being a hater"...

But also non-fandom media discussion gets mixed in with fandom behavior, and even when you want to engage in fandom behavior it's basically impossible to fully filter out people who only think about media with their vaginas and dicks. Exhausting as an asexual. Exhausting also when you see racialized and disabled people repeatedly chased out of fandoms for having any concerns about the way people think with their vaginas and dicks. Even when I'm talking about some kid's cartoon or shounen jump manga I wanna talk about characters and lore and themes and not, like, how wet it makes you to imagine the characters from Yugioh as big brown bestial men dominating fragile waify womanly east asian boys. (Hate hate hate hate hate...)

I like meta! I like lore! I like character analysis and theoryposts! I'm tired of tumblr users talking about being horny as inherently virtuous and sex aversion as inherently fascist!
